About The Club :

First of all we would like to thank Bob & Dot Eason for giving us the opportunity of running this club at the Community Athletic Sports Club in Netherne, Coulsdon, without them it wouldn’t have got off the ground.
This club is open for the promotion of live acoustic music in Coulsdon and surrounding areas. Its primary aim is to get people together to enjoy and appreciate live acoustic music whether you play, sing or listen and this venue is ideal for this purpose. We are open every 2nd Friday in the month from

8 – 11pm, There is plenty of parking and a bar for drinks and snacks, for those that don’t drink alcohol there is tea, coffee, soft drinks and juice.

Resident Band - The Grass Hoppers

This is a new venture and started in April 2005 by Ray and Sheila Tassie, we welcome all types of acoustic music from bluegrass, old timey, ballads and blues to keep it live and alive. In a relaxed and friendly enjoyable manner. Always music has been there but during the 90’s other things took priority and enthusiasm slipped but in 2001 on hearing the sad news of the untimely death of Bluegrass musician Ted London (Henley Horrors) the spark was re awakened, so here’s to you Ted (see photo)

We have a resident band, Grass Hoppers - Ray Tassie, Mandolin. Ges Blackmore, Guitar. Adrian Greene, Banjo, and Mike Flood, Bass. (see photo)
